Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically in the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat like The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. After gaining some fame on the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) She began to review films in the latter half of 2009. At the beginning of 2015 she was on the website when Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts on her channel that both cover the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was featured on numerous shows of Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
