Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American musician, actress and performer. Her most famous role was as one of the Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". Her singing career started as an teenager. Annette was an introverted child who grew up in Utica with Italian immigrants. After deciding to start working within the field began doing dance and performed. At the beginning of the 1950s, Annette became well-known for appearing in several "Disneysketch shows. In her later years, Annette shredded her 'Disney' persona and appeared in a number of adult roles. Her most famous role was one of the very first actors to pioneer"beach parties" and the "beach party" genre. The films she appeared in included "How to Stuff A wild bikini.' Pajama Party.' and Beach Party. She also continued to release albums of her own music occasionally. Annette was diagnosed as having Multiple Sclerosis in the year 1992.
